Sustainability

At The Arkow, we design with intention and produce with responsibility.

We work exclusively with thoughtfully sourced natural fabrics, including RWS-certified wool from farms that uphold the highest standards of animal welfare and responsible land management.

This ensures ethical treatment, environmental sustainability, and full supply chain transparency. We also use premium Italian poplin, selected for its enduring quality and refined finish.

Our garments are finished with natural, biodegradable buttons made from horn or trocas shell, entirely free of plastic. These buttons are produced in factories certified to OEKO-TEX®, GOTS, and the Global Recycled Standard, reflecting our commitment to high environmental and social standards.

All of our pieces are made in-house, in our own atelier, where we carefully monitor production, optimize fabric usage, and reduce excess. This level of control allows us to avoid overproduction and support a slower, more thoughtful way of making clothes.

Our collections are seasonless and adaptable, designed to support a wardrobe that evolves over time. We believe in well-made garments that you return to often, styled across different seasons and events.

With an understanding of the many roles women inhabit and how clothing is worn in everyday life, we focus on material and shape. Each silhouette is crafted to move with the body while maintaining a sense of ease and presence.

Rooted in minimalism, enduring style, and meticulous craftsmanship, our pieces connect effortlessly across collections, forming a wardrobe that is cohesive, lasting, and distinctly personal.
